Hotel in Earls Court, London (SW5)

Are You Deciding On A London Hotel?

You need to be near the shops / the sites / the events, sure.

Logically, you don’t want to stay right in the noisy, expensive centre. But you still want to be less than about 10 minutes away.

You need easy access to the tube – and if you’re flying in you need easy “one line, no changing” access, to and from Heathrow.

And it’s the same for arriving at Euston, Kings Cross, St Pancras (including Eurostar), Liverpool St, Paddington and Victoria by train – easy access with your luggage is essential.

We are the Amsterdam Hotel, just a few steps from Earls Court Station, in a quieter side street – and we’re probably the best hotel in the area!

So, why do we got consistently ranked in the top 25% of hotels in London, coming higher than many which have more stars – and which charge considerably more?

Well, We’re Family Run, For Starters.

Every day, we welcome guests from around the world, and we know that if we look after them, they’ll tell their friends, they’ll tell TripAdvisor – and they’ll come back, time and again. That alone keeps our advertising costs at rock-bottom.

So we can spend more money on the hotel, yet still keep our prices exceptionally low.

What Do You Get?

You get fluffy towels, comfy beds, hot showers or baths with Gilchrist and Soames bathroom products, flat screen televisions, direct dial phones, fax services, photocopying services, Wifi Internet, en-suite bathrooms and coffee and tea making facilities in all rooms.

You’ll get wooden floors and good lighting (Why DO so many other hotels not get the lighting right?).

There’s lift access to all floors, a 24 hour reception, a computer room – and we have free Wifi throughout.

All our 27 rooms have been redecorated with soft pastel colours and gentle fabrics.

And, of course, we include breakfast in all of our rates.

So, family run, not too big, at just 29 rooms, and a really great area to get to and from – there’s even lifts from all the tube line platforms, so no humping cases up and down escalators and steps!

Getting Around

The Piccadilly line, from Earls Court station, just around the corner, goes right through the heart of the West End, through South Kensington for the museums, Knightsbridge for Harrods and Harvey Nichols, then on to Hyde Park Corner, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus (it’s only an 11 minute ride to here!) and Leicester Square.

Then on to Kings Cross St Pancras, for Eurostar (just 19 minutes).

The District line is here too, for Paddington and Wimbledon as well as direct to the West End and the City, via Embankment (just 14 minutes away – for the London Eye and Trafalgar Square), and on to Westminster and beyond.

But do, please, try and book as soon as you can.

We’d love to have you stay here in London, to look after you, to make you comfortable.

Our previous guests tend to book early – and we’d hate to disappoint you.

But you probably already realised that ….
